The Wooster Players are an extra-curricular production company of the Wooster's Theatre Arts Program. Students at all levels are encouraged to participate in theatrical production in both performance and technical roles. Our goal is to nurture young talent and instill a love and appreciation of the arts through a solid arts education. We have several events throughout the year including two Mainstage Productions, A Night of Comedy/Drama/Improv, IB Theatre Arts Collaborative Projects, State Showcase, and IB Theatre Arts Solo Theatre Pieces. We are members of the International Thespian Society (Troupe #7538), a division of the Educational Theatre Association. We participate in the Northern Nevada Theatre Festival, Nevada State Thespian Conference and the International Thespian Festival in Lincoln, Nebraska in June. Wooster Players consistently excel in ITS events. Wooster’s Theatre Program is a thriving and challenging program offering students the chance to learn and engage in all aspects of theatre while producing quality, professional shows for the students and community to enjoy!

Hello, my name is Kai Pruyn and I am so excited to be your Wooster Players president this year! I am a senior in the IB program, and this is my fourth year in theatre. I have been involved with three of Wooster’s productions, as well as competition and other theatre-related activities. In my very limited free time I am somewhat-athletic with dance and swim team, and I enjoy sleeping and watching Netflix. I also may have slight obsession with coffee. Anyway, I hope this will be a wonderful year of theatre, and please feel free to ask me any questions!
